What has happened to Dreamscapes Of The Perverse? Why are we not playing shows? Why is there no information regarding the new album?
Let us address these questions, here.
Dreamscapes Of The Perverse is still together, and stronger than we ever have been as a band, stronger in our writing, stronger in our focus, and stronger in our purpose. We have been off the radar for a while as we've simply chosen to be.
We have not committed to playing any shows until next year as we are very busy working on what comes next for us. While a show may come up before the end of the year, it is not our priority at the moment to perform, rather, our desires lead us to creating an album quite outside of the realm we once were familiar with. Through the trials and triumphs of processes we've undergone in an effort to both re-center and expand our calling, we've found it necessary to isolate ourselves from the requirements and requests which stem from being part of such a project for so many years.
We want to be heard, and we're getting there. We're just not ready, yet. When the time comes, rest assured that you will know, as we will no longer be able to maintain our silence. Until then, we will remain as outsiders, confident that our efforts will produce a worthy follow-up to Gignesthai, one that shows we remember who we once were, that we are finding out who we are, and what path we may choose to follow when we ask formally ask ourselves "what's next?" for us.
So, remain vigilant, and keep your expectations high, as we will do our best to exceed them.
